Tooth Whitening

Color – yellowish, stains on teeth… These are just some of the characteristics that can add years to a smile and, consequently, to a face. Paula Sequeiros, a Stomatologist, and a Maxillofacial Surgeon, calls them “tooth wrinkles”. By eliminating or disguising the evidence of these imperfections, the appearance can be rejuvenated by a good number of years. In the case of tooth whitening, the process couldn’t be simpler: in a single appointment and, in 45 minutes, a true smile lift is performed. A hydrogen ( or Carbamide) peroxide gel is carefully applied to the teeth, after the gums have been isolated. and activated through light. The process is repeated two or three times, under constant surveillance and, at the end of the session, the teeth are “reborn” whiter. For even more satisfactory and lasting result, custom trays should be used at home, one hour a day, for two weeks, with a whitening gel of a different concentration.
