Endodontics is the discipline of dental medicine dedicated to the study and treatment of diseases of the dental pulp (internal and vital part of the tooth).
When this tissue is affected, whether by fracture, caries or other infections, Endodontic* Treatment is the only way to keep the tooth healthy and functional.
Current Endodontics presents very predictable results when we reach the excellence of the technique, which is only possible with the use of a clinical microscope.
The use of the Clinical Microscope allows an appropriate approach to root canals, complicated anatomy cases and resolution of complications etc.. by magnifying the view field.
In spite of the very predictable results of Endodontic Treatments, in a small percentage of cases, it may not be possible to control the infection at the bone level and in these situations a surgical approach – Endodontic Microsurgery may be necessary.
Endodontic Microsurgery is another type of Endodontic Treatment done with clinical microscope.
* Endodontic – root canal treatment
In our Clinic, Endodontics is performed by a specialist, an Endodontist, with specific training, that only performs this treatment, therefore, he does it much better than a general dentist.
My technicist is knowledgeable of all the best current techniques and materials and will handle not only simple cases but also more complicated ones. It has the support of the Clinical Microscope, essential when we want to achieve a high success rate.
Single session treatment
Today, many cases can be solved with a single session instead of several sessions, which always prolongs the treatment and involves more visits to the clinic.
