If you are not yet our patient, I would like to welcome you and tell you that everything is done to ensure that you have a good experience, from the first contact with our clinic to the conclusion of your treatment.
The evaluation of new cases, to which I pay special attention, consists of a first consultation to collect data, not only on the reason that led him or her to seek me out but also on the relevant personal history of their oral and general health. X-rays and photographs are also taken.
After this consultation, I will analyze all the data and create a treatment plan and budget that I will present to you personally in a second consultation, with the help of photographs of cases similar to yours, so that I can visualize the result I intend to achieve.
You will be able to answer all questions regarding the treatment or even find out what alternative solutions are available in your case.
This assessment process has a total cost of €80, paid at the first consultation.

It is well served by both public transport and car parks.
When should I book a checkup?
Check ups are very important when it comes to oral health and you should see your dentist every
six months a year maximum.
Many people think that if they don’t have any complaints then it’s okay:
Unfortunately that is not the case, if you finished your treatment and we were able to attain a
state of oral health the work isn’t done if it’s not maintained by you at home.
Attend regular appointments to detect any minor issues that might come up (like a new cavity, a
small fracture, your gums health, the condition of the work done whether it’s veneers implants etc.
The ideal scenario when you come to a check up would be:
A dental cleaning every six month
A clinical observation complimented by x-rays if needed every year.
I’m panicking about going to the dentist. What should I do?
I can tell you that you belong to a much wider group than you think.
Over more than 30 years of clinical practice I’ve treated, and still do, many patients that tell me,
on the first appointment, that they are scared to death of going to the dentist.
It is fundamental to establish a firm trusting relationship and we have to pay special attention
while treating people to whom going to the dentist is a nightmare.
I’ve never done sedation, I’m a doctor and for many years I was a Maxillofacial Surgeon at the
hospital and I wouldn’t feel comfortable sedating patients without having an Anesthesiologist
present. I know this is questionable but this is how I feel. Besides I have never felt the need of
sedating in order to treat patients.
In some cases and rarely I advise taking an anxiolytic like Xanax one hour before the appointment
(in which case the patient should not drive to the clinic).
How does the clinic work after the Coronavirus?
We did a huge effort to adapt to this new situation and can welcome you and conditions of safety
to you and to all the staff in the clinic.
1. Reinforcement of all the individual protection equipment to all the personnel that works in the
clinic.
2. Further measures of surface disinfection.
3. Scheduling less appointments per day and more space between each other to permit an
appropriate disinfection.
4. We took away all unnecessary material, like magazines, in the waiting area and inside the office
we only have what we are using outside in contact with air.
5. We make all the efforts to have just one patient at a time in the waiting room and of course
always with the mask on.
6.From October we will have Rapid Tests for Covid available at the clinic which will be used if
there is any doubt, recent traveling or if the patient wants to do it.
What we will ask from you:
1. A small questionnaire will be done by phone checking if there are complaints, like cough fever,
recent travels, to know whether or not it is safe for you to come to the clinic.
2. You should come if possible alone to reduce the number of people in the clinic and in the
waiting room.
3. For the same reason you should come on time.
4. You should wear a mask.
5. Upon arrival your temperature will be checked and we ask you to disinfect your hands with
alcohol-gel and put on plastic covers on your shoes.
Do you have direct agreements with any insurance company?
No I don’t and this is because prices paid by insurance companies are so crushed that are
completely incompatible with my kind of practice, that is focused on results and excellence and
not in cutting costs in all the line and seeing as many patients as possible to make the system
work.
Having said that I must point out that most of my patients have insurance and are partially paid
back by the companies upon presentation of the receipt.
If you like my work and results then you should come and see me before you make up your mind
about who you want to trust you’re oral health with.
Can the payments be done in fases?
Yes there is no upfront payment of the total amount of the treatment plan in my clinic, you pay
what you do when you do it. This makes it easier for many patients and gives you all the
freedom to do things at your own pace.
